Rebuilding Together,
One Neighbor at a Time
Hurricane Helene has claimed lives, uprooted families, and destroyed homes and infrastructure all over Western North Carolina. In response, a few Fairview residents have established FairviewStrong.org, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding homes and restoring hope in our community.
Every day, we see the destruction and scars Helene left behind. It’s a constant reminder of how much we still have to do.
Please know that all donations will directly impact Fairview residents.

Fairview is not okay.
In response, we’ve established FairviewStrong.org, a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded by residents determined to unite and support our community during this challenging time. While we’ve seen an incredible response from volunteers offering their time and resources, the needs remain immense. Our mission is to assist residents and businesses in rebuilding, securing safe housing, and ensuring every neighbor feels heard and supported.
Our immediate priority is to raise funds for housing families in the Fairview and Garren Creek fire districts. We’re seeking donations to help purchase new homes for these families, which may be placed on their existing properties. Although we’ve been fortunate to receive clothing, food, and water donations, we urgently need the resources to provide safe, permanent housing solutions.
You can help by sharing our mission with your friends and family, near and far, and encouraging them to contribute. Stay connected with us to see the tangible difference your support makes. Follow our Facebook page for real-time updates and coming soon, FairviewStrong.org merchandise, such as signs, stickers & T-shirts, to show your support and spread the word.
Together, we can rebuild Fairview — one step at a time.
